SlimPORT

Tthe SlimPORT project has been granted in the context of the Program for Innovation in the Industry of the Ministry for Economical Development called “Industria 2015”. The aim of the project is the realization of an advanced system for port logistic network. The proposed solution realizes the management of intermodal transport of people and/or goods in the exchange nodes between “the last sea mile and the first land mile”, integrated with the port security systems, the boats, the facilities and the means for people and/or goods transport.

Project Automation will realize a component of the SlimCITY subsystem for the monitoring and the assessment, in real time, of the impact on the environment due to the land and sea traffic that is drawn by a port area.
